Ekiti FIDA gets news executives, as Ex Chairperson, Olatunbosun charges them on professionalism
The Newly Elected Executive members of Federation of Women Lawyers FIDA in Ekiti state have been charged never to relent in championing the course of protecting the rights of women and other vulnerable groups.
The out gone FIDA chairperson, Mrs Oyinade Olatunbosun gave the charge at a dinner organised in hounour of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mrs Oluronke Adeyemi for promoting Gender sensitive issues.
Mrs Oyinade who noted that a lot still needed to be done to win battles against violation of human rights also encouraged the new executive members of FIDA never to give up irrespective of whatever challenges they might face while carrying out their duties.
In their messages of good will, an Ekiti State High court judge, Mrs Blessing Ajileye, Chairman Nigeria Bar Association Ado Branch, Dr Taiwo Omidoyin, Representatives of security agencies among others promised to give adequate support to FIDA in the task of protecting the vulnerable from all forms of violence.
The Dinner featured presentation of the newly Elected Executive members of FIDA to the gathering where Mrs Ayobami Olowoyo-Richards was introduced as the new Chairperson,

Awards were also given to distinguished icons in legal profession part of whom are; a Senior Advocate of Nigeria based in Ilorin kwara state, Oluronke Adeyemi, a Legal Practitioner, Mr Lugard Gbenga Agbomogan represented by barrister Olaide Awal Bolanta, a member of Ekiti State House of Assembly barrister Iyabo Fakunle-Okieme in recognition of their contributions to protection of human rights, philanthropic gestures among others.
