APC presents Certificate of Return to Okpebholo amid Idahosa’s protest
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has presented Certificate of Return to the winner of its governorship primary election in Edo State, Monday Okpebholo.
National Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, presented the certificate to Okpebholo at the National Secretariat of the party on Saturday in Abuja.
Ganduje was joined by other members of the National Working Committee of the party.
Meanwhile, one of the major contenders for the APC ticket, Dennis Idahosa, also took his protest to Abuja over the outcome of the rerun primary election.
Idahosa called on the party to uphold his earlier declaration as APC candidate for the 2024 Edo governorship election.
