Ekiti CP assumes office, vows to go after criminals
The newly deployed Commissioner of Police to Ekiti State, Adeniran Kunle Adewale, has officially assumed office.
Adewale took over from Dare Ogundare, who was elevated to the rank of AIG.
Addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the new CP said his deployment was not a mistake but a call to serve.
He said: “This time calls for sober reflection because of the upsurge in insecurity but the government is doing everything possible to arrest the situation.
“I am here, and I am in charge, those with weapons should submit them because I will come after them.”
