NUJ, Information Chapel Mourns Death of On-Air Chapel Member, Ogunmiloyo

 

The State Information Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mr. Ojo Olugbenga Ogunmiloyo, a dedicated member of the On-Air Chapel.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Comr Wale Obelewaji and Secretary, Comr Kunle Oyeniyi of the Chapel, the union described the death of Mr. Ojo as a painful loss to the journalism profession in Ekiti.

The chapel noted that the deceased was a committed and hardworking journalist who served the union with passion and integrity.

“The news of Mr. Ojo’s death came to us as a rude shock. He was a respected professional whose contributions to the media industry in the state will not be forgotten,” the statement read.

It commiserated with the leadership of the family of the deceased, the Ekiti State Council of the NUJ, and members of the Electronics Chapel.

The chapel prayed God to repose the soul of the deceased and grant his family and NUJ members the strength to bear the loss.
