Ekiti State has recorded notable developments in infrastructure, education, human capital development, and governance under the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Highlights of Developmental Efforts:
✅ Completion of the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport and commencement of commercial flight operations.
✅ Construction of 25 inter-state and intercity roads spanning 288 kilometres across the state.
✅ Renovation and equipping of 105 Primary Health Care Centres and General Hospitals.
✅ Establishment of nine ICT laboratories in selected secondary and technical schools.
✅ Disbursement of grants and loans to thousands of beneficiaries, cooperatives, and MSMEs.
✅ Increase in undergraduate bursary awards from ₦20,000 to ₦40,000.
✅ Increase in undergraduate scholarship awards from ₦80,000 to ₦100,000.
✅ Increase in scholarship awards for physically challenged students from ₦100,000 to ₦120,000.
✅ Construction of 135 km of rural roads under the RAAMP project.
✅ Recognition in a governance performance ranking.
