World Record and World Champion, Tobi Amusan has won the Women 100m Hurdles event at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
Like she did at the World Championship in Eugene, Oregon a fortnight ago, Amusan not only won the Women’s 100 m Hurdles, but did so in record breaking fashion setting a new Commonwealth Games record by clocking 12.30secs in the final of the event early, Sunday, 7 August, 2022.
Devvyn Charlton of Bahamas won the Silver medal with a time of 12.58 secs, while England’s Cyndy Sember won the Bronze medal with a time of 12.59secs.
Amusan’s medal brought the number of Nigeria’s Gold medal to 10.
