Speaking about the security of lives and property, Oyebanji stated that the police have worked hard to secure the state and that the people cherish their patriotism and sacrifices at all times.

“In the course of performing our duties as a state, we realised that the police can’t be brushed aside in the maintenance of security of lives and property. We really cherish your job and value your contributions.

“Police job is professionally demanding. Wherever you are posted to, please, make sure you act as good ambassadors. Governor Oyebanji is making Ekiti proud, try and consolidate on this by becoming officers our country can be proud of”.

The President of the Cadet ASP, Regular Course 7, Bukola Oriola, appealed to government to extend some of the interventions like laptop distribution to help e-learning, financial assistance and others being enjoyed by their counterparts in conventional institutions, so that they can have hitch -free studies during their stay in the school.

The President disclosed that the institution is a degree awarding institution, which grooms and trains the students to be senior officers in the Nigerian Police Force.

Oriola promised that his colleagues won’t betray the confidence reposed in them by the Nigerian nation, saying they will dedicate their entire lives in enforcement of laws and ensuring security of lives and property.

“Our vision is to be officers that can effectively perform the duties of enforcement of laws and provide security for the lives and property of the citizens. We are assuring you that we shall be good ambassadors of Ekiti State wherever we are posted to in Nigeria.

“We won’t betray this confidence. We are having a vision to rise and become Commissioners of Police, Assistant Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Inspectors General of Police and ultimately Inspector General of Police. And we can only achieve all these if we are professional and found worthy in character.

“As citizens of Ekiti State, we are not only in the school to learn police job, we are also winning laurels in other areas of our training like the combat art training, enduring trekking and many others”.
