Ekiti State Peace Corps Hails Oyebanji Over New Minimum Wage

Ekiti State Peace Corps have hailed Governor Biodun Oyebanji over the néw minimum wage of ₦70,000.

They appreciated the Governor for integrating them as part of the beneficiaries of the new minimum wage which cut across all strata of workforce.

“We the Local Government Sector Commanders of the Ekiti State Peace Corps wish to express our deepest appreciation to Your Excellency, the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for integrating the state Peace Corps in the payment of mew minimum wage of Seventy Thousand Naira (₦70,000)”.

“The decision to communicate our appreciation to Your Excellency became necessary, having received the new minimum wage promised Ekiti workers across all strata in our December salaries, which came to us as a surprise”.

“As beneficiaries of the new minimum wage, our joy knows no bound, not only for the payment of new minimum wage to us, but for integrating us as part of Ekiti workforce, we can now boast to call ourselves “Ekiti Workers” like others, due to our inclusivity in the scheme of workers’ welfare”.

“We equally want to thank Your Excellency for all the workers’ friendly policies initiated in the last two years of your administration, in which we are not left behind, the entire Ekiti State Peace Corps feels your positive impact in our lives and we are bold to assure Your Excellency of our unshaken loyalty at all time”.

Furthermore, “we have resolved and we are determined to continue to show and demonstrate our unwavering support towards the success of your administration and we shall by God’s grace employ every lawful means to sustain the reality of good vision of Your Excellency in office beyond 2026 knowing fully we would benefit more from your administration”.

Once again, “we are saying thank you to Your Excellency for putting smile on our faces”, the statement added.
